KALEO has released two new songs today. “I Want More” and “Break My Baby” are the first songs the band has released since the album A/B was released in 2016. They are both composed the the lead singer, JJ Julius Son. You can buy and stream them on all major services.

The two songs have very different sounds from one another. “I Want More” features a fingerstyle guitar, smooth vocals, and has an almost old-school country western feel to it. “Break My Baby” is more in line with what KALEO is famous for: distorted guitars, excessive reverb, and vocals that get a little rough sometimes. You know, alternative rock.

The band has seen great success in the last few years. The album A/B sold over one million albums worldwide, and the single “Way Down We Go” from that album was certified 2x platinum in the US. It reached the number one spot on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in 2016, and was used in over 30 American TV programs. In 2017, KALEO received a Grammy nomination in 2017 for Best Rock Performance for the song “No Good”.

Now that they have garnered 39 international accolades and played countless sold-out shows around the world, a new chapter is underway.
