Weekend Forecast: Cold As Hell

The temperature will drop to -20°C in some parts of the country today. These cold temperatures are expected to continue into the weekend.

Remember when we had a warm summer and a mild autumn? That was nice. On the bright side, we’ll most likely have a white Christmas.

The Meteorological Office estimates that the next week will see the most snowfall in the north and east. In the south, it will be mostly dry, with occasional hail. The capital region will also stay dry, while the temperature stays just below zero.

Considerable cold is to be expected over the next few days, although it will be milder on the coast than in the Highlands. The weather service expects the temperature to rise next week.
