Last week, Sigurður Baldvinsson, the 43 years old owner of Dogsledding Iceland died in a tragic kayaking accident.

Baldvinsson or “Siggi” as he was affectionately known, leaves behind a four year old daughter and his partner who is nine months pregnant.

The loss has left his family in uncertain waters as the future of the business hangs in the balance. Therefore, the parent’s association from his daughter’s school are calling for donations to support the family and help them keep the business alive.
