Icelandic police are investigating a foreign company grooming young Icelandic girls with promises of modelling work in Canada, reports Vísir.

“The police would like to warn anyone against accepting such offers without thoroughly vetting any agency making offers of this nature to young girls,” reads a statement from the police on the matter.

If you or anyone you know has been contacted with similar promises, you are encouraged to reach out to the police via their Facebook page or by email : abending (at) lrh.is
