The body of a man was discovered early this morning in the Grandi harbour area, and police do not suspect foul play at this time.

Vísir reports that the body was discovered by a passerby this morning, who alerted authorities. While numerous police officers arrived, the scene was not cordoned off, leaving people to speculate that the police do not believe the death was the result of a crime.

Some hours later, the police were able to positively identify the body, and have concluded that foul play was highly unlikely to have played a part.

No other information about the incident is available at the time of this writing.
