One of the more brazen acts of making oneself at home has been captured in photos.

We at the Grapevine have reported on numerous examples of tourists in Iceland feeling comfortable enough with their surroundings to make themselves right at home. This has included camping on golf courses, camping inside churches, and various and sundry ways of relieving oneself in the great outdoors.

However, Garðar Valur Hallfreðsson of Egilsstaðir has topped them all, posting photos on Facebook of tourists employing car washing equipment at a local gas station to bathe themselves.

The people in question bathing themselves, four in all, were reportedly French speakers. According to RÚV, a passerby tried to tell them that this area is not for open-air showering. In response, one of the men reportedly waved his genitals at the passerby, laughing.

We at The Grapevine would like to advise people to use actual showers, or at least an out-of-view body of water, to do your bathing, and under no circumstances should you taunt people with your genitals.
