International con man and tech wiz, Reece Scobie has been sentenced to a year in prison by Icelandic courts for credit card fraud and the distribution of child pornography, reports Vísir.

In addition to his one year sentence – which he will serve back in the United Kingdom – Scobie has been fined 3.3 million ISK for various legal costs.

In 2013, while still a teenager, Scobie was arrested and sentenced to 16 months for conning travel agents out of roughly 14 million ISK (GBP 70,000) by booking flights around the world and staying in luxury hotels.

Scobie was en route to New York last year when he was arrested at Keflavík airport by Icelandic authorities as a part of an investigation into ticket fraud and child pornography distribution. Scobie had over 4000 images and 345 videos saved on his computer, phone and Dropbox.
