The play, Blue Planet, by Icelandic author Andri Snær Magnason has opened to rave reviews in Chicago, reports Vísir.

The Chicago Stage Standard gave the play, three and a half stars out of a possible four and called the play “out of this world” – pun most likely intended.

“I am pretty pleased with the review,” said Andri Snær who is currently traveling through the U.S. “Can’t feel any other way about it.”

Blue Planet, which runs through March 15 at the Storefront Theater, is about a planet on which innocent and carefree children live. One day, their idyllic life is disrupted and manipulated by the arrival of the first adult who slowly corrupts the planet and the children who live on it.

Blue Planet also premiered in Ålborg, Denmark last night, though no reviews are in at time of writing.
