Last night after two semi-finals the public chose María Ólafsdóttir and her track Unbroken to represent Iceland at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, reports RÚV.

Incredibly, it took three shows and two rounds of voting in the Söngvakeppni to select the Icelandic entry.

More people participated in the tele-voting during the final than ever before.
