New Channel 4 documentary 'The World's Best Diet' claims Icelanders eat the healthiest

New Channel 4 documentary The ‘World’s Best Diet’ has claimed that Icelanders eat the healthiest, reports Metro.

Presented by farmer Jimmy Doherty and journalist Kate Quilton, the documentary features leading nutritionists and dieticians ranking different country’s diets based on weekly shops and typical meals and snacks. Apparently, the Icelandic combination of fresh fish, high quality meat and dairy products locked the top spot  – closely followed by Italy and Greece.

This is not the first time Icelanders have been praised, in January Iceland scored a perfect mark for quality, nutritional diversity and safe water in Oxfam’s Global Food Table Iceland.
