A still-born six-legged lamb was recently born on a farm in Norðfjörður.

“[I have never seen anything like it,] not where all the legs are the same length,” Farmer Axel Jónsson told Vísir. “Sometimes they’re born with [extra] stumps.”

Despite the lamb’s additional set of legs, Axel told Vísir that it could have lived.

“[The lamb] was fully formed,” Axel said. “It had probably just passed away or died  in the birthing process.”
