Support for the Progressive Party is now lower than support for two parties in the opposition. Meanwhile, the Independence Party is losing ground fast.

According to a new poll from Market and Media Research, support for the Progressive Party is now at 14.4%, down from 14.6% just one month previous.

While a dip of about 0.2% is not by itself significant, the poll also shows that support for the Social Democrats is up from 14% to 15.1%, and support for Bright Future went from 16.4% to 17.1%. This means that two parties from the opposition are not only polling higher than the party leading the government; that support is also growing.

Meanwhile, support for the Independence Party – who partner the ruling coalition with the Progressives – has gone from 29% to 23.9% in the past month.

All other parties in the opposition experienced a rise in support, albeit to varying degrees. The Left-Greens went from 10.4% to 11.5%, while the Pirates went from 9.3% to 11%.
