There were two separate break-ins in the Vesturbær neighbourhood of Reykjavík last night, Vísir reports.
A restaurant was burgled after thieves broke in and stole a sizeable quantity of beer. A school was also broken into. The window was broken and intruders entered the building but fled the scene after setting off the school’s alarm system.
Police are investigating if there is any possible connection between the two.
