ISAVIA, the company handling all airport operations throughout Iceland, has announced that Spanish airline Vueling has been granted slots at Keflavík International Airport, allowing the airline to offer direct flights from Barcelona this summer.
Vueling will fly to and from Keflavík on Tuesday and Fridays from 20 June through 17 September, flying outbound in the afternoons and inbound in the evenings.
The addition of the Spanish low-cost airline to Keflavík’s team of airlines follows shortly on the heels of the commencement of services from the British low-cost carrier, Easy-Jet. Easy-Jet began flying between Iceland and Manchester earlier this month.
