From Iceland — More Acts Added to Airwaves Roster

More Acts Added to Airwaves Roster

Published May 28, 2010

The organizers of Iceland Airwaves have announced that more acts have been added to the roster, from both this country and abroad.
From the UK, Alex Metric along with Charli XCX will be gracing our fair shores, as well as the new folk band Tunng. Everything Everything will also be playing, as will electropop duo Mount Kimble.
From the US, there’ll be Tune-Yards, The Antlers and the attractively named Hercules and Love Affair. Finland will be offering us Jaakko and Jay.
But perhaps the most exciting news of all is that legendary Icelandic punk band S.H. Draumur is going to be playing after a 17 year absence from the music scene. This is a band fronted by Grapevine’s own Dr. Gunni, and that guy has great taste in music, so you know this band is going to be awesome.
Tickets are still on sale, so be sure and get yours now.
