Boy, we haven’t liked anything in almost two weeks. Does this mean
everything sucks? No! It just means that there’s so much stuff out
there to like that we’re too busy liking it to tell anyone about it.
However, tonight’s awesome concert at Grand Rock surely demands public
liking. So there you go! We really like Grapevine gogoyoko Grand Rock at Grand Rokk tonight! And so should you!
The show features the talents of rising young star Dísa (daughter to legendary Icelandic vocalist Ragnhildur Gísladóttir), the Danish singer/songwriter type Mads Mouritz and Reykjavík’s premier surf-shredders Bárujárn! We haven’t seen Mads perform yet, but we hear his performances can get pretty awesome. We’ll let you know after the night in case you don’t make it. As for Dísa and Bárujárn, both give exemplary live shows and have some nice tunes – it’s no wonder their presence on the Reykjavík gig-circle has been growing at an alarming rate lately.
We also like other stuff, stuff that’s not concerts. Just so you know. We really like our latest issue. It looks great and has lots of nice articles. We like the new Kebab place by Ingólfstorg (Ali Baba) – great shawarma! We like kids and kittens and summer and the fact that they’re making Lækjartorg look all nice today.
Great day. Cheers to y’all!
