Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Share with Us Your Tidings, Good Airwavers!

Chew on this: Attending Airwaves is, in many regards, like working a 9-5 job. Okay, just bear with me for a second and consider the facts: You’ve got your co-workers (a few thousand attendees); minimum job requirements (must know how to party like it’s 1999) demanding bosses (those god damn bands); and drastic layoffs on the horizon (you’re all fired in exactly 4 days.)
The only thing missing, you’re thinking, is the water cooler or coffee machine, that uncomfortably small social arena where coworkers can gather, bitch, moan, and spread terribly malicious gossip (our favorite part). Well, dear colleagues, your prayers have been answered.
Stop by Bakkus Thursday and Sunday night at around 12:30 AM and Friday and Saturday nights at 2 AM, have a beer and regale us with your fist-sized hickeys, tell us what band blew your socks off and whisper in our ears who we should or shouldn’t make out with (we’re considering putting together a chart of all the attendees who might have herpes. Scared yet?). Don’t worry about finding us, just show up and we’ll find you.
Then check back here the next morning and see your very own words in print! Yes, honest-to-God online print!

  • When: 12:30 AM Thursday, Sunday. 2 AM Friday, Saturday.
