Grapevine’s Most Fun Shop of 2010 sure lives up to its reputation during this years Iceland Airwaves music festival. The epicenter of off-venue fun, Havarí have about twenty bands performing on their daytime festival extravaganza.  Everything from avant garde noise to sophisticated chamber pop will be represented, with performances from newly established artists such as Canadian Diamond Rings and French experimentalists Gablé to respected veterans as S.H. Draumur. Havarí will also host The Natives Present: Tribal Curiosities and Aboriginal Crafts – an exhibition featuring craftworks from Örvar Þóreyjarson Smárason (múm/FM Belfast), Sindri Már Sigfússon (Seabear/Sin Fang), Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir (Seabear), Lóa Hlín Hjálmtýsdóttir (FM Belfast/Prins Póló). The exhibition opens at 18:00, Wednesday October 13th, day one of Airwaves.
