Klapp, a cooperative film organisation, invites thriving and aspiring film makers to partake in short film competition “Skærumyndir“. Contestants are offered support in the way of basic gear, production and script help, all in the spirit of raising Iceland’s film industry to a higher level.

This is the second time Klapp hosts Skærumyndir. Back in 2011 it saw seven short films get created from scratch and screened at Bíó Paradís through the contest.

Applicants have until March 4 to submit their pitches to klapp@klapp.is. Entry is free, and the project is slated to go from March to the beginning of June.
