‘SÓLEY’ Film Screening
20:30, IÐNÓ, Free!
‘SÓLEY’ is a feature length, pro-pagan, DIY, magical realist, folkloric epic film made in 1982 that was written and directed by legendary Icelandic artist Róska. Unfortunately, it is also a lost film. While the original negatives are long gone, there is one 33mm bootleg copy, which will screen tonight for free. Check it out and if you love it, donate to the online campaign for its digital restoration.

18:00, 21:00 Tjarnarbíó, 2,500 ISK
As we always say at the Grapevine, there ain’t nothing like Puccini. Even if you’re not an opera-buff, this one act piece by the legendary composer is recognisable enough that you’ll be wishing it was appropriate to sing along at opera shows like it is at rock concerts. For the record, it isn’t and if you do, please don’t mention the Grapevine. You can grab tickets online here.

What’s The (Power)Point?
20:00, Loft, Free!
Hosted by comedian Kimi Tayler, this night invites you to prepare and present an up-to 5 minute PowerPoint on a topic of your choosing. From “Why I Love Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol—The Best Movie Sequel Ever Made” or “My Theory On Eurovision: How Páll Óskar Changed The World”—if you care about it, we’re interested. Transitions, GIFS and memes? We love ’em! Data, charts, graphs and diagrams? We’re into it! Comic Sans, gradients, word art, and 90s aesthetics?? OH YES please! Technical issues guaranteed.

Myrka, who you can read about here, has joined up with graphic designer Siggeir Hafsteinsson for an urban wear collection that’ll be bold, unapologetic, unorthodox and no doubt incredibly trendy.
