Sónar Reykjavík is one of the world’s most revered music festivals. Since its inception in Barcelona, it has spread across the globe and now takes places in cities like Cape Town and Stockholm—and in Reykjavík. This is really special, as we learned last weekend.
We had our impressions, and at the same time sought out to learn how the rest of the crowd perceived the event. We went around throughout the weekend, asking:
“What’s your name? Where you are from? And what does Sónar mean to you?”
We have polled the crowd. The answers we got were different as they were many.
Was the world saved? Was it a bout of simple fun? Or both? Or something completely different? Check out our video. If nothing else, it will make you wish you’d been there.
