Stuff We Like!

It’s FRIDAY and Sprengjuhöllin, Sin Fang Bous and special guest Haukur of Dikta will all play the awesome Grapevine/gogoyoko show at Grand Rokk tonight.  Sprengjuhöllin are fresh from what was apparently a “kick-ass”
trip from the States, and should be well prepared to rock your socks
off with their humming melodies and off-beat stage banter. Sin Fang
Bous should need no introduction by now, the side-project of
Seabear-founder Sindri Már. Under the moniker, Sindri released one of
last year’s best records, and has now assembled a fine group of young
musicians to perform it live. Last but definitely not least (and,
actually, he will be performing first), Dikta’s singer/guitarist Haukur
Heiðar will play a rare acoustic set – the boy’s headed to the land of
God, Guns and Government next week for a solo tour and will be
showcasing his solo set for the first time tonight.
Tickets are only 1.000 ISK and are well worth it. Grand Rokk is located
at Smiðjustígur, off Laugarvegur (ask anyone downtown if you can’t find
it). Show starts at ten. Now you know about it, now you have no
excuses. So come on!
