Skelkur í bringu

Skelkur í bringu play simple raw noise-rock/punk with catchy melodies and psychedelic freakouts. Rockabilly, punk and doom metal influences mixed with lively performance and storytelling by their singer Steinunn Eldflaug Harðardóttir (dj. flugvél og geimskip, Sparkle Poison). The band uses custom stage decorations such as a homemade light show and trippy outfits. When the venue supports it they also use backdrop videos as a part of the act. The performances are dangerous but loose. The songs deal with dark fantasies, nonsense and alterded states of consciousness.
