Oyama

Oyama are a young Icelandic five-piece making shoegaze-noise-rock.
They played every night of Iceland Airwaves 2012, with packed crowds and critical praise from homegrown and international media. Oyama were the Icelandic buzz-band of the festival, which also acts as an annual referendum on the country’s most promising new acts.
Projekta signed Oyama for management off the back of their demo tracks and their captivating live show.
The are currently unsigned and recording more demos, as well as writing towards a debut album.
Expect to see Oyama spread their wings internationally in 2013.
