M-Band

The one-man act that is M-Band performs beat-driven, nu-electronica where earthy sounds are wrapped around the music’s machine-like core. With a mixture of R’n’B, Arabian, the Eastern-European world and folk, this melancholic pop is described as atmospheric, beautiful and dreamy. On top are hazy, alto-tenor vocals, lyrics about life as we experience it seen from existential philosophy.
M-Band got lot of attention and positive reviews in the year 2012 for the six-track ep called ‘EP’ and the complicated, laptop-free live setup, consisting of analog synthesizers, drum machines, samplers and loopers, taking the concept “live” all the way.
