Today, 40 new artists were added to the lineup of the Iceland Airwaves music festival. Among the new acts are: GusGus, 200.000 Naglbítar, Pinegrove (US), IDER (UK), Aron Can, Fazerdaze (NZ), Maus, Lost Horizons (UK), and Joey Christ.

The British duo, IDER, will play at Iceland Airwaves

Maus will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album “Lof mér að falla að þínu eyra”, which was released November 4th, 1997. Simon Raymonde, the bass player from Cocteau Twins and the owner of the record label Bella Union, will appear with his new band, Lost Horizons.

GusGus will be the closing act in Valshöll on Saturday November 4th – which will no doubt be one hell of a night.

The final announcement for the lineup for Iceland Airwaves festival 2017 is expected in 3 weeks. The schedule for Akureyri will be released next week, and the final schedule for the whole festival will be available mid September.
