Emmsjé Gauti As Miniature Muscle Man In New Video

Today, rapper Emmsjé Gauti released a new video for his song “Lyfti mér upp”. The video is captivating and breathtaking—highlights include Gauti travelling to the supermarket, pushing a pram, and showing the world that he takes oral hygiene very seriously.

The video essentially documents a ‘day in the life’ of one of Reykjavik’s best known artists. Gauti also makes an appearance at the gym, and we speculate that from the song’s title (translates as “Lift Me Up”) that he’s training to become a miniature version of the Mountain.

There’s more. At the end of the video, GKR shows us that the struggle is real as he purchases countless boxes of cereal at the supermarket.

“Lyfti mér upp” will appear on Emmsjé Gauti’s album, due out in November.
