If you’re warming up for Sónar Reykjavík next week, there’s a fun party going down at Húrra tonight. One of the bright lights of Iceland’s recently energised rap scene, GKR, will open the night. His single ‘Morgunmatur’ is a sincere ode to the joys of breakfast, and went kind of viral in 2015.

Headlining are Milkywhale, a dance-pop project who’ve taken Reykjavík by storm in the last year, performing at Reykjavík Arts Festival and stealing the show at Iceland Airwaves ’15. Perhaps they’ll even be debuting some new songs.
