Youth cultural centre Hitt Húsið has just restarted their 4/4 concert series, which focuses on giving musicians aged 16-25 the chance to promote their music, as well as get experience performing in front of a live crowd. The first show features 17-year-old singer-songwriter Magnús Thorlacius; 24-year-old Columbian-Icelandic Ivan Mendez, who performs acoustic indie-folk music with a band; 17-year-old Erna Mist; and 24-year-old Luke. Then on October 17, there’s another show with indie kids Aragrúi and Stígur. Don’t miss this series; it’s very likely the future of Icelandic music.
Tonight’s concert is happening at 21:00 at Hitt Húsið. See the full listing here.
There’s also another event on October 17. Both events are free.
