First Annual Þórir Week Approaches Climax with Grapevine Podcast

The Grapevine’s First Annual Þórir Week reaches dizzying heights today, Friday, March 3, as Þórir takes to downtown Reykjavík to bring his music to the people.
Starting at 5 pm, local time, Þórir performed at 12 Tónar with his band the Death Metal Super Squad and as a solo act.
Tonight, as we release the podcast, Þórir is performing with hardcore band Fighting Shit at Kaffe Hljomalind.
At 11pm, Þórir and young hopefuls Jakobínarina will perform at Grand Rokk in a send-off show for their upcoming South by Southwest appearances.

On the right you see our podcast. Okay, it wasn’t created using Apple products, it’s really just a long set of MP3s. You have a few options. You can a) listen to the interview and the live concert, b) listen to a live concert without Bart Cameron’s annoying questions, or c) listen to some studio tracks from Þórir’s first album, I Believe in This.

All songs played are copyrighted, and the Grapevine has received exclusive permission to broadcast them in this format without paying royalties to Stef. Please, if you wish to rebroadcast the songs from this site, contact 12 Tónar and Þórir to ask permission, 12tonar@12tonar.is.
