Driving a tour bus is a job that brings with it adventure and intrigue, as one driver discovered firsthand late last night.

Vísir reports that the driver in question was driving his bus to Reykjavík when he struck a fox. Believing the animal dead, the driver reportedly put the fox in a bag, which he then put in the cargo hold of the bus. He then continued his journey to Reykjavík.

Upon arrival, however, he opened the cargo hold to find the fox was very much alive. It had, in fact, escaped from the bag and was roaming freely in the hold.

The driver called the police at about four this morning, requesting assistance. It is unknown what became of the fox, but it is assumed it was put down. Whether the fox will rise from the dead a second time still remains to be seen.
