RÚV has put together highlights from the 24-hour live broadcast of sheep giving birth on a farm in north Iceland.

In case you missed the action, public broadcasting company RÚV streamed live coverage from the farm of Syðri-Hofdalir in Skagafjörður from noon yesterday to noon today. The event was action packed, filled with joy (75 lambs were born) and tears (one of them died, but its sister lived).

Below, you can see the major highlights from the event, replete with sheep cavorting and gallivanting, lambs wagging their tiny tails during feeding time, and the miracle of life as lambs are brought into the world, many of whom will grace Icelandic dinner tables in the months to come.

Enjoy!
