A banner on museum website, njala.is, indicates that the Njál’s Saga Centre has been hacked by Islamic State (ISIS).

When visiting the site, a song begins to play in Arabic and a banner at the top of the page proclaims it has been hacked by ISIS. Below the banner is a link to a Facebook page belonging to a Mr. Mohammed Ali (IslamicState).

Whether or not the website has been hacked by ISIS or whether this is some kind of practical joke remains to be seen. At time of writing, Njál’s Saga Centre were not reachable by phone.

Njál’s Saga Centre is a small historical culture museum  in Hvolsvöllur, Iceland and is dedicated to the old Viking sagas, in particular, Njáls Saga.
