Björk’s eighth studio album, Vulnicura, released early following a leak has topped the iTunes charts in over 30 countries.

So far the album has been met with positive reviews, check out the Grapevine’s First Listen published yesterday.

Björk has also announced a series of concerts beginning on March 7 at Carnegie Hall.

march 28 – City Center 12:00 pm
april 1 – City Center 20:00 pm

As reported, Vulnicura is about heartbreak and the accompanying artwork features Björk cast this time as a lank-haired, black-clad figure with a cloven chest, pierced all over her torso with what looks like hundreds of acupuncture needles.
