Dýri the cat, saved from a cat shelter in Reykjavík, has found full time employment at an aquaculture farm, reports Vísir.

His job? Executive Mouse Catcher. His salary? Room and board.

“Dýri is one of our employees,” said Sigurvin Hreiðarsson, manager at the Dýrfiskur aquafarm. “He’s from down south, we got him at Kattholt cat shelter, and he’s handling business that we need taken care of.”

Dýri lives at the aquaculture farm and routinely makes rounds at night to check for mice and other vermin. In his free time he enjoys watching the fish swim around in the enclosures, especially when they are fed.
