American Border Collie, Hunter, who went missing in Keflavík last Friday after his travel case burst open on an airport conveyor belt has been found, reports DV.

Hunter was found wandering around the beach of Ósabotn near Þórshöfn by a search team with his owner Katarina Reinhall at the helm. Katarina waded into the water when she spotted him and two rescue workers had to help her and Hunter back to shore.

“Hunter was limping a little, but that’s all,” Katarina said.

A video of Hunter and Katarina reuniting can be seen below. She has sworn not to let Hunter out of her sight until she can see he is safely caged in the cargo hold of the plane returning them to Sweden. She also thanks everyone who assisted in the search effort.
