Icelanders Busted In Copenhagen

Two Icelanders are in the custody of Copenhagen police today after authorities discovered 5.5 kg of amphetamines in a locker the two had rented in Copenhagen Central Station, mbl.is reports.
The men, one aged 50 and another in his 20’s had traveled to the Danish capital by train from Sweden on 14 February. Steffen Th. Steffensen, an officer with Copenhagen’s drug enforcement division told a local newspaper that the drugs had been discovered by accident and that police were not aware of any plans to ship the goods to Iceland.
This arrest brings to total number of Icelanders in police custody in Copenhagen to 12, all on drug-related offences.
