Congratulations 2016 Kraumur Music Award Winners!

Congratulations 2016 Kraumur Music Award Winners!

Published December 15, 2016

We’re halfway through the end of the beginning. Or the beginning of the end. Or anyways, we’re halfway through. It’s December 15th and it’s that time of year, when the entire Earth turns into one big mirror and we start that month long period of reflection.

The annual Kraumur Awards happened tonight at Húrra to recognize the top six albums of the year. Kraumur is an independently-funded musical fund that supports Iceland’s musical doers, re-doers, up-and-comers, and still-in-the-sceners. Congratulations to this year’s winners. Looking good.

amiina – ‘Fantomas’

GKR – ‘GKR’

Gyða Valtýsdóttir – ‘Epicycle’
