It might not come as a surprise to regular readers, but we at Grapevine are keen whale watchers—at least, when it comes of the Icelandic performance-pop duo Milkywhale.

Melkorka Sigríður is the explosive dancer, singer and front-woman who fronts their joyous live shows, aided and produced by Árni Rúnar (also seen in FM Belfast, among other projects). Milkywhale really burst onto the scene at Airwaves ’15, where Grapevine named them “winners” of the festival, and we’ve kept our sonars switched on in the hope of detecting new Milkywhale activity.

Today the duo release a new video for the song “Goodbye,” directed by Magnús Leifsson, featuring a chap who seems to give himself the electric chair in a La-Z-Boy. See the video below, and look out for some more exciting Milkywhale-related news in our new issue, out on Friday.
