Hafþór Continues To Be Epically Strong

Grapevine cover star and all-around epically strong dude Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson set the world record for throwing a washing machine at last weekend’s Ripley’s World Record Days in Reykjavík, DV reports. Painted and dressed as The Hulk, Hafþór launched the machine 4.72 meters, or roughly 15.5 feet.
Hafþór, who placed third at this year’s World’s Strongest Man competition, also improved his own record for bending iron rods. He was able to bend four iron rods around his neck in 30 seconds.
