Penis Museum To Get First Whole Human Specimen

An Icelander who donated his genitals to the Icelandic Penis Museum in the event of his death has passed away, and now the museum curator is undergoing preparations to receive its due.
Páll Arason, the donor in question, passed away on 5 January. Sigurður Hjartarson, the curator of the museum, told Fréttablaðið that while he does not know if the agreement – made 14 years ago – will be respected, he said he does not think there will be a problem. “I expect that it’ll work out,” he said in part.
The Icelandic Penis Museum has penises of every species of living thing that has a penis and lives in Iceland, except for a human. “I have testicles from one, and foreskin from another, but I have long waited for a full specimen. That’s the one thing I need,” Sigurður said.
Sigurður said he intends to be patient and not push the matter. In fact, the museum has four donation pledges for a human specimen, Páll’s among them.
In all, the museum has 209 partial and whole penises of 46 kinds of animals, among them 55 specimens from 17 kinds of whales.
