In keeping with the band’s meteoric rise to international fame, Of Monsters And Men have been nominated for an MTV Music Video Award.
Of Monsters And Men have seen some extraordinary success this year. Their album My Head Is An Animal has climbed the Billboard charts, been ranked high in sales on both Amazon and iTunes, and they recently performed on The Tonight Show.
MTV has revealed the nominees of this year’s Music Video Awards, and the band has been nominated, in the category of Best Art Direction, for the video to their song “Little Talks”. Competing with the band in this category are such acts as Drake, Katy Perry and Regina Spektor.
Although MTV normally solicits votes on their websites for the awards, this is a non-voting category. However, you can see the video below and decide for yourself if they have a shot at winning:
