Man Arrested At Blue Lagoon With Marijuana

A man who brought marijuana to the Blue Lagoon was arrested, with a search turning up evidence of other crimes.
RÚV reports that the suspect in question was at the Blue Lagoon on Sunday when a cigarette pack fell from the pocket of his bath robe. Inside the cigarette pack was found a small, clear plastic bag which is presumed to contain marijuana.
Police were called to the scene. Upon searching the locker of the suspect, police found a heart defibrillator that had been stolen from the Blue Lagoon medical clinic, and he had allegedly run up a tab of unpaid food at the Blue Lagoon totally about 10,000 ISK.
The suspect, a man in his thirties, was also found to be in possession of four mobile phones. He was summarily arrested for possession of a controlled substance and theft.
