Icelanders Buying New Cars Again

Fifty five percent more cars were registered in Iceland during the first eight months of the year compared to the same time period last year, according to mbl.is.
Of the 4381 new car registered this year, The Road Traffic Directorate reports that Toyota is the most common make registered, followed by Volkswagen and Suzuki.
In its heyday in 2008, Iceland reportedly had the second most cars per capita.
