A number of events over the weekend are free to the public, including a concert on Saturday night showcasing some of the best of Icelandic rock. The concert starts at 20:00 in Silfurberg Hall with Agent Fresco, Mammút, Lights on the Highway, Valdimar, Apparat Organ Quartet, Hjaltalín, and Jónas Sigurðsson og Ritvélar framtíðarinnar, and HAM.
Harpa’s opening ceremony of events will continue until Culture Night on August 20 when the building facade designed by Ólafur Elíasson is complete.
