Government Support Continues To Decrease

A new poll from Market and Media Research (MMR) shows support for the ruling coalition of the Progressives and the Independence Party down to 43.1%
According to the poll, government support was at 44.6% at the start of the month, down from 54.8% last July and just under 60% after elections. By party, the Independence Party went from 28.4% a month ago to 26.8% today, and the Progressives are now at 15%, down from 16.3% on the first of November.
At the same time, support increased for every opposition party but the Social Democrats, who went from 14.3% to 13.8%. Bright Future, now the party with the most support in the opposition, went from 14.5% to 15.2%.
The Left-Greens rose from 11% to 12.6%, while the Pirate Party saw a similar increase, from 7.3% to 9%.
Of those polled, 79.6% gave a party of choice. 5.9% said they were undecided, 5.6% said they would submit a blank ballot, 2.9% said they did not intend to vote, and 5.9% would not disclose who they would vote for.
