Baltasar Kormákur confirmed to RÚV that he has met with Christian Bale to discuss the actor potentially starring in his next film, Everest. The two met at Bale’s home, where Baltasar showed the Batman star his film ‘Djúpið.’
Everest would be filmed largely in Iceland, where Bale visited previously to film portions of ‘Batman Begins.’ Production costs for the film are expected to run between 60 and 70 million U.S. dollars, and it will be filmed in 3D.
Bale is said to be reviewing his schedule prior to making any commitment to ‘Everest,’ but soon the world will know whether or not he’s in.
