Published July 26, 2012

Actor and comedian Ben Stiller recently appeared on the talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he talked in part about how “beautiful” Iceland is.
Stiller has been in Iceland shooting his new movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Since his arrival, the Icelandic media has engaged in a bit of a celebrity blitz, reporting on such events as Stiller having a cast iron stove flown in. But this summer has seen an unusual number of celebrities visiting Iceland – apart from Stiller, Tom Cruise, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Morgan Freeman have all paid recent visits.
On Jimmy Kimmel, Stiller opened his interview by mentioning that he had recently been to Iceland, which he described as “beautiful”, adding, “The sun never goes down there, and people are … very good looking.” When asked if it was a good thing that the sun never goes down, Stiller replied, “It is when the people are good looking.”
