From Iceland — Airwaves Sold Out

Airwaves Sold Out

Published September 28, 2010

Tickets for Iceland Airwaves have completely sold out, a statement from the organizers announces, and there are literally hundreds of acts booked for the music festival.
There are officially just over 300 acts scheduled to perform at Iceland Airwaves, in addition to dozens of off-venue acts, packed into just five days. This will make it the largest Airwaves festival since its inception.
A complete schedule will be available in early October, which will be posted around town, on the Airwaves website, and made available on Icelandair flights. Organizers also promise “some new surprises” as the festival draws near.
Airwaves has been running for eleven years, drawing musical acts from all over the world. To learn more about what to expect this year, visit the official website.
